You are right in a sense. We have in a sense evolved to eat much lesser carbs and sugars than we do now as sugar was rare to come by back then. The low carb diet called paleo or the zero carb diet called keto work so well for this reason.
But I personally love carbs and I don't even track my macros. I only track my calories when I try to lose weight. Thanks for taking the time to read through and leaving this thoughtful response.
