Well, Fountaiinhead has far lesser characters and less "exciting" of a storyline but if you are able to connect with Roark, the book will feel rewarding. It primarily portrays the heroic of man and individualism vs collectivism. I would suggest you give it another try. I personally loved it from the start, I did feel it slowing down here and there but I nevertheless liked it. Also thanks for reading and for responding!
