Third party software and tools are always at risk - I remember using Ghostwrite and Merlin in the beginning.

ChatGPT and Gmail itself has those functionalities now - rendering both useless.

Big tech can develop with a speed and budget that the small indie developers and teams can’t compete with.

It’s sad because many of the third party tools are actually amazing - and have decent well intentioned effort poured into them.

But Big Tech will gobble them up by releasing the same functionalities - at 100x the speed.
