The self awareness is off the charts - where there is honest self awareness there growth has already begun.

A perspective that has helped enablers see the damage they do is - by doing it yourself, aren’t you handicapping and stilling their growth?
Had you let them try a few more times, they might overcome their frustration and get it done.
Enabling creates a dependence which is often worse than the act of trying and failing.
