That's a really good question to be honest. Some pleasant activities are instead serotonin inducing. But the beauty of inherently rewarding things is, by definition, we are more likely to do them.

A reward motivates us. So at a societal level, it would be really hard to do it. And I don't think we should either.

Dopamine acts as a good anarchy controller. Society can use it as the dangling carrot to maintain stability. But a few outliers can def go past dopamine and chase inner peace
