Thank you so much! As to ab exercises, DEFINITELY. If you enjoy them, by all means, go ahead and perform them. I just don't enjoy them and I feel compounds are enough.

Yes, hanging leg raises are excellent. Back when I did ab exercises, I'd do mostly those and rope crunches.
