Strength training actually does. I'd argue it's even more fun than regular sports. I've played a few sports at a competitive level (swimming and roller-skating) and lifting beats them by a mile.
Even a couple of my friends that used to be competitive soccer or basketball players stopped playing once they got into strength training.
Smashing PR after PR and watching not only your physique but your strength numbers go up is a feeling next to none.
But again, it's highly subjecting. As long as it's physical activity and you're enjoying it, it's totally chill
