No it isn't nonsense. It is science. CICO has been proven to be the only way to lose weight, in fact it's pure thermodynamics.

Sure, metabolic damage can occur but that's only after prolonged periods of too high caloric deficits.

All the "faddists" point out hormones, metabolism, etc. while forgetting they're all covered under CICO.
