Most of the "self-help" advice and quotes sound only good on paper. They are romantic and ignore reality. Live each day as if it's last is one of the most stupid pieces of advice I have ever seen. If someone were to live each day as if it were their last, it would be with loved ones or partying or doing anything apart from working towards building a good future.

Never give up is another such advice. You need to know when to give up.
