Love this idea. This reminds me of an overarching principle of life, the highest good can only be achieved by he who has the power to do the highest bad as well.

Power is intention-neutral. It only has magnitude no plus or minus sign.

The most good of people and the most evil of them are equally powerful - the difference is in the intent.

Again, this means ego and arrogance are insanely important factors.
