I'd say women are complex - I didn't understand them for a long time until maybe a few years ago.

The men who didn't express are not the typical masculine men.

The "men" express freely and are overt with their advances, words, and intentions.

It's women who're stereotypically covert and hence the term "women are hard to understand"
