John, this essay made me rethink my whole approach to Medium, writing, and (the) life (that results from the prior two).

I was thinking in too-linear terms and limiting myself to MPP payouts, KoFi tips, digital-products' loose change, and the rare golden freelance gig.

God, I couldn't have been more wrong. The algo follows the writing - not the other way round as I've been "playing" so far...
