It is a total load of baloney. Imo writing needs to be imperfect. People are imperfect, imperfection is the norm, perfection is a fantasy.

If a piece of writing is perfect, it will only "impress" it won't inspire and make the reader bond with the writing.

Raw, authentic and imperfect writing is what strings the heart.
