In all honesty, my articles that have been Boosted have needed 5 to 8x the effort regular articles did (Also of my 11 Boosted articles, only 2 were my self-nominations - the rest I earned just like any non-nommer writer would),

Boost standards are very high - and it requires a fundamental shift from quantity to quality.
