I see all this doomsayery and "dystopian" narratives around corporate all the time.
But having been a software developer for a while now, I'm yet to even see something resembling this.
The colleagues are chill. Manager is great. Incredible work-life balance. Absolute work flexibility. WFH.. Unlimited wellness leaves.
My other friends who work in (good) tech have similar experiences.
This chopping block scenario seems exclusive to finance and consulting? Or are there legit bad companies out there?
