I love this story Roy and I believe this is one place I went wrong in my last "love of my life" relationship.

We focused too much on the end goal and that created stress/resentment that distanced us.

This process of just focusing on the process and letting things like marriage "happen" is the best - I am super happy for you and super grateful for my ex as she was an instrument to teach these lessons to me
