I have an interesting before-after to share.

Back when I worked my cushy tech job and made bank from Medium too on the side, I had sky-high money anxiety - despite making 8x what the average person my age in my country would back then.

Oddly, now, with Medium's new algo changes and me quitting my job, I make WAY lesser than then (3-4x lesser) - but my anxiety is record low.

What has changed is the value and sense of security I assigned to money itself - used to be a lot earlier. Is bare-bones utility now.
