I had a similar problem in my first relationship. Irrespective of whether I was abusive, excited, happy etc. she would barely communicate. It was this lack of communication that eventually tore our relationship apart.

My younger brother also sucks at communicating. It's a critical skill to learn and being bad at communication will affect you more than other people.
