I can relate so so much with all this. The part where you mentioned what about people that you inspired resonated the most.

I am no influencer but when I shared my fitness transformation on Quora, I blew up and over time gained a lot of followers both on Quora and Instagram.

I would have a lot of DMs in my Instagram and the messages mentioning how much I inspired someone would make my day.

I didn't quit my account but I quit posting and obsessing over it. I used to love clout and the thought of becoming a famous "influencer" but all that's past.

It's easy to get drawn in and forget real life. I would set fitness goals based on what I thought my audience wanted instead of what I wanted.
