Good one! The first point is something even I learned recently and it freaking works. Instead of using headings and subheadings as labels, use them to pull your readers in.
There's actually a term for 4, it's called spinning. It's completely okay to do that. As writers, we tend to grow and when we do, our perspective changes so spinning an old article into a new one is essentially making a different one altogether.
As to 5, that's excellent advice. I am a regular writer for The Ascent and by this point, the editors recognize and remember me. When you stay consistent with a publication, you end up developing a good relationship with the editors which can help a lot.
