Absolutely true! I made a shit ton of dumb shit as a teenager and that's normal. There's a reason they are called your teens and not your adult years.

Many lives have been ruined over stuff like this which is wrong but shouldn't have been taken seriously.

Media likes sensation and anything racist is super sensational so they pick it up and shove it in everyone's faces.

As you said, we really need to let teenagers make mistakes without unnecessarily penalizing them.
