Absolutely on spot. Talking about the "scarcity", it isn't a hard limit like actual Gold. There is only so much gold you can mine from the earth but as to bitcoin, with just a change of code, the limit can be extended.

Bitcoin is a pure bet. Everyone is rallyin for it because everyone is rallying for it. It's basically a hype bubble.

Ethereum is much more powerful and viable as an actual currency in the future. But as you said, it isn't as famous as btc.
