A valuable caveat worth mentioning here is - most if not all professional bodybuilders are on (copious) amounts of steroids.
Yes, you CAN build muscle without animal products - but it typically requires vegan protein powders and dedicated eating that non-professionals might find hard to stay consistent with.
My point isn't to stop being vegan but for readers to recognize the difficulty of hitting your protein goals AS a vegan.
