Pop productivity has 2 polar opposite camps:

  • The unnecessarily and unrealistically complex — 30-step routines, fancy paid tools, and convoluted note-taking apps.
  • The worthlessly simple — 2-minute “hacks,” “micro-habits,” and “affirmations.”

While the former’s unrealistic, the latter is ineffective and low-ROI.

P.S. Bullet journaling is the only 2-minute daily habit that proved needle-moving and high-ROI. The rest were all ineffective “feel-good” shams.

True productivity is built upon “boring” principles, habits, routines, and systems.
